My First Activewear Collaboration
I was so excited when Citta Activewear reached out to collaborate with me on a summer collection
I get approached from different companies and brands to partner with them occaisionally. Between working from home while helping the kids with remote learning, I’ve felt overwhelmed at the best of times this year and taking on additional endeavours has felt challenging.
I’ve been wearing Citta Activewear for years. They’re a woman-owned, Canadian business who have been so generous to send me clothes and host giveaways on my Instagram in the past.
When Citta connected with me to partner with them on an activewear collection - I was excited! I couldn’t say no!
The collection launches this Saturday June 5th. Here are the pieces, so wonderfully photographed by my friend Michele a few Saturday mornings ago - right after we found my lost cat Hero!
For reference, I am 5’ 7” and weight 165 lbs.
Mindful Bra
I love longline bras. They’re longer than a typical sports bra and hug your rib cage.
There’s something super sexy and flattering about this bra and the back design is gorgeous. I can’t wait to get back to the gym and show off my back muscles (in progress!). It’s a low support bra and is super cute under a slouchy sweatshirt! Bra fits true to size. I am wearing a Medium.
Yellow Moxie Twist Open Back Tank Top
I love the bold sunshine yellow of this open back tank top! The small Citta logo emblem centred above the open back, adds such a subtle, yet classy branding to the top. Tank top fits true to size - I’m wearing a size small.
Navy High Rise 7/8 Pant
I like to call these ultra high rise pants. They ride well over my belly button and make me feel comfortable and secure during my workouts. The pants can be sheer when the fabric is stretched so these are not squat proof. I absolutely LOVE this color of navy blue. A classic color that can be worn with a variety of workout tops! I recommend sizing down and am wearing a size small.
White Front Twist Tank
Super comfortable and flattering, this longer, twisted front crop tank is lightweight and perfect for summer. You cannot take the knot or twist out of the front of the tank. It has a solid back. Fits true to size - I’m wearing a size small.
Lightweight Thin Grey Hoodie
This is a thin, light-weight, perforated fabric with a scoop neck and scooping hem line. The hood is nice and deep (even if Michele did think I looked like someone from the Lord of The Rings with it up!) and the cut is flattering. If you prefer a fitted look, grab your regular size or size up for a little more room. I’m wearing a small.
Navy and Black Spirit Bra
I love sheer fabric in my sports bras and it’s always been something that makes me stop and do a double take when I’m browsing athletic wear. This is a medium support bra, with double straps and that signature metal Citta logo centre back. I love the way it pairs with the Navy High Rise 7/8 Leggings and the Navy High Rise Bike Shorts. I recommend sizing up and I am wearing a size medium.
Navy High Rise Bike Short
Bike shorts are super trendy this summer - especially when worn with a baggy oversized t-shirt or sweatshirt. Made out of the same comfy material as the high rise leggings, these are not especially squat proof. I love the high rise, helps me feel secure with my extra skin when working out! I am wearing a size small and would recommend sizing down for a snug fit.
Those are all of the pieces from our collaboration!
I hope you enjoy this preview of my first activewear collection with Citta! Make sure you grab a few items this Saturday morning at www.CittaActivewear.com!
